Product Information:

The Jeffrey Pine is closely related to the Ponderosa pine and is very tolerant of infertile, dry soils.  It's native range is in the mountains of California, Nevada, Oregon and down into the Baja of California.  It adapts quickly to varying conditions and will grow from sea level all the way up to the tree lines of mountains at 9000 or more feet.

For our Wyoming customers, this tree makes an excellent choice to survive in the harsh conditions found throughout the various ranges of the state.

Overall the Jeffrey pine is often used for lumber and its resin/sap has various scents ranging from vanilla, lemon, pineapple, violets, apple, and even butterscotch.  Birds love to also eat the seeds from the pine cones.
