Product Information:
Similar to native Wyoming Ponderosa pine, Austrian or Black Pine is an all around survivor in the evergreen Pine family originating from Europe in the Mediterranean forests. Introduced into the USA in the 1800s, it has great ice and cold resistance, along with drought, heat, salt, and pollution tolerance. The long needles make it great for windbreak rows and grows well in the high altitudes of Wyoming. It is also easily used as an ornamental pine in urban settings.
