There is a saying in the nursery world: The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago; the second best time is today. At Dry Rock Trees Nursery, we’ve spent the last few years helping you plant those "todays." We’ve watched our tiny seedlings travel from our hands in Cheyenne to windbreaks, privacy screens, and backyard forests across Wyoming and the US. But as our mission to re-green the world grew, so did our need for a space that could keep up with the demand for high-quality, chemical-free evergreens.

Today, we are thrilled to share a massive milestone with you: Our new facility is officially complete!

A Sanctuary for Seedlings (and Our Team!)

If you’ve spent any time in Wyoming, you know the elements can be unforgiving. Whether it’s the relentless wind or the sudden shifts in temperature, growing trees here requires grit. Our new building, located right here on our land outside of Cheyenne, is designed to give our seedlings the best start possible before they head to your door.

This facility isn't just a warehouse; it’s the heartbeat of our operation. It gives us:

• Climate-Controlled Storage: Ensuring our seedlings stay dormant and protected during the critical shipping windows.
  
  
• A Dedicated Packing Hub: More space to hand-inspect every seedling to ensure they meet our "Live & Healthy Guarantee."
  
  
• A Welcome Mat for Locals: With our new covered porch and expanded space, we are better equipped than ever to handle local pickups for our neighbors in the Cheyenne area.

Growing Naturally, Growing Bigger

Even with this big new building, our philosophy remains exactly the same. We are still a family-owned nursery committed to all-natural growing. That means no chemical fertilizers, no pesticides, and no herbicides. We believe that if a tree can thrive in the rugged conditions of Wyoming with only all-natural help, it can thrive anywhere. This new facility simply allows us to scale that mission—bringing more variety and better service to our community of "tree people."
